What is Romantic?

Today I thought about what do I consider romantic. I wanted to plan a romantic weekend for Des and Me. We have had many romantic moments in the past years.

Some Things I think are romantic.
Hiking
Day hike to botanical gardens
Holding hands at church
A drive
A road trip
visit an Art Gallery
Go to the Library or book shop

a massage
Tinkling my back
Playing with my hair

A bubble bath
watching a romantic movie together
going cycling together
Listening to an Audio book
Listening to music together and discussing the lyrics

All problems have meaning and are sent to teach a lesson. At the wedding I had two problems focus and light. I tried things to compensate. I got some good photos but had a lot of not so good photos. So focus and light are symbols that I can apply to my life. Do I struggle with focus. Do I need to pay more attention to this. Light is the other symbol. The right illumination is vital to seeing the world in its best light. Light is most difficult in low light situations where the Sun is not able to penetrate. In these instances I need to add light from an artificial light source to illuminate the subject or I can open an aperture wider, but depth of field is reduced. My lense also has limitations in this situation. I can also increase exposure time but this adds blur. Iso can also be increased, but this also has limitations. It effects color and noise and focus. Thoughts on Marriage

Joanne got married on Friday so i have given a lot of thought to marriage over the past few week in the run up to the wedding. The wedding was very beautiful.It is wonderful to see two people declare their love and commitment to each other in the eyes of the world, their family and Friends. I know that sometimes things don't work out, but at least for one day everyone is happy and striving to an Ideal. Different marriages last for different duration, but most have a season of happiness. Some manage to hold on to that happiness for a little long then others. The aim of this game is to hang on to happiness for as long as possible. To start a marriage with lots of ideal, exceptions and hopes is a good thing. We all hope for the best knowing in our hearts there is a possibility of success or failure.
