Signs- The Loerie

I found a 50c piece on the ground at 50 at Wits yesterday. I noticed for the first time that there is a loerie on the coin. I thought this could be a sign for me. I then saw a grey loerie in a tree outside the flower hall at Wits. What is the meaning for me?
I wondered if it is related to Laura's passing. Laura and Loerie sound similar. It also reminds me of Kynsa and reading "kringe in a bos" by Dalene Mathe at schPID automatic control via SCR power control. I loved that book. The lourie was a major character and theme in the book. Laura and I were in school together and read the book at the same time. I wonder how Carey-ann and Roxenanne are doing. I saw Taryn. I should also visit Carey-anne.
50—does this also have a meaning since I am in my 50s as was Laura? I have 4 years left in my 50s. What do I want to achieve in that time? How long will I still live? Laura's life was cut so short.
Life changes so quickly. Wendy moved to Cape Town, Laura passing and Jo's plans to too.

  1. another term for turaco and go-away bird.
  2. It is a bird that makes a very sharp sound to warn people that there are demons and tokoloshes and other things negative and hostile around.
As a bird name: "Loerie" is the common South African name for birds belonging to the turaco family, such as the Knysna Loerie (or Knysna Turaco) and the Grey Loerie (or Grey Go-away-bird). The name "loerie" likely comes from the Afrikaans word "loer," which means "to peer" or "to watch". This is a fitting description for these alert birds that peer out from dense forest foliage

In summary, the word "loerie" relates to "peer" both through the etymology of the bird's name ("to peer") and as the name of a creative awards ceremony where industry peers gather.
