2050

I sit her contemplating what the world will be like 30 years from now in 2050. I woul be 80 years old if I like that long.

I am trying to muster the energy and strength I need to go into the customer and discuss freeze dryers.

Its a very hot day. The temperature is 31 C. I am sitting in my renault Duster at the CSIR in Pretoria. The  department is the nono tech department. How much of this will be relevant in 30 years time.

China has a huge problem with a Corona virus and has quarantined millions of people. Flights have been stopped. The big question is how long will this last and will it be contained and life go back to normal or will it escalate and become a bigger problem with time.

When I look back to this time what will I think. Looking back at the past at world changing events in my lifetime 911 comes to mind. I thought at 5he time we were headed for ww3. It didn't happen and life went on much the same as it had done.

Around 2000 as we heeded for the turn of the century we feared computers would stop working because  of y2k. THE clocks moved on and life continued as before without any major hickups. 

Will this time be the same. The world standing on the brink of disaster and avoiding it though ingenuity, preparedness and science. The human machines desire for survival is immense and do far has seemed to pulled our world wide civilization to where it is today. 

Humanitys ability to colonize our environment have made us the alpha predators.. Where does God fit into the equation. 

Are humans going to destroy everything that have built... We have the power to this or to build the future.. Which will we do.
